Systemic Interventions in Teams and Organizations.
Jan Jacob Stam and Dees van de Hoef
9 and 10 January 2026
In person Cape Town
What we will do:
-Introduction in the systemic theory in the way how we introduce that in the teams we work with.
-About four or five different interventions and processes we use, presented and practiced in a way you could apply it yourself.
-Some cases from participants plus reflection. These could be organizational cases but also societal cases related to organizational development.
-Exploring the question: ‘Who or what am I for the team or system I’m working with?’.
-Following the questions, wishes and needs of the participants within the framework of the topic of this workshop.
The workshop will be a mixture of theory, cases, reflections and explorations in smaller groups.
For whom:
Systemic facilitators, (team-)coaches, consultants, teamleaders, managers and business owners.
Jan Jacob Stam and Dees van de Hoef work together at Transitionstudio. Jan Jacob is a pioneer, adventurer and facilitator who stands at the birth of systemic thinking in organizations. Dees is also an adventurer and explorer by nature and an expert in transformation work with groups and an experienced guide in team and organizational development. Together they hold over 50 years of experience.
Dees got a lot of experience in her jobs as HR-manager, project-manager and doing ‘the impossible’. Her motto: ‘It ís possible’. Her curiosity about motivations and behavior of people has been an important source for understanding human systems.
Jan Jacob has known Bert Hellinger since 1998, organized workshops and congresses for him, translated several of his books and attended over 30 of Bert’s workshops. They often exchanged their latest insights.
Jan Jacob stayed befriended with Bert and met him until a few months before his death.
We at Transitionstudio consider Bert’s work as our main source.
From this source we developed many approaches, interventions and constellations to be applied in teams, organizations, societal and personal transformative processes.
